This project is located in east-central Tajikistan, under the administrative jurisdiction of Sangvor District, a directly governed national district. The site lies at an elevation of 2,000–3,000 meters and features mid- to low-mountain terrain. The two mining areas are about 35 km apart in a straight line and are approximately 200 km west of the capital, Dushanbe.

The project comprises two zones: the Daleibakh Mining Area in northern Sangvor, covering 15.67 square kilometers and primarily containing manganese ore; and the Khobrabot Mining Area in the southern Darvaz region, covering 61.6 square kilometers (blue-shaded area in the “Mining Area Location Map”), with manganese and copper as the main mineral resources.
